Tandoori Chicken Tangri is whole chicken leg piece that is roasted in earthen pot called Tandoor. The chicken drumsticks are first marinated in yogurt with delicate herbs and spices for a minimum of 4 hours. As the chicken is cooked at high temperature in tandoor, this gives the dish a deep golden hue. Tandoori Chicken Tangri is served with thin rounds of sliced onion and mint chatney. Chicken Tangri is mostly served as a starter or a cocktail snack. Tradiational tandoor is a cylindrical clay baking chamber which is heated with live coals.
